Snowboard vocabulary often has several names for one thing: spelling variants (toe-side, toeside), abbreviations (FS for frontside), older names, or names from another language or scene. The Bible stores these as aliases so a search for any of them leads to the same entry.
Context and distinction
An alias only applies when the meaning is the same in the stated context. Two words that look alike, or a term that is often confused with another, are linked as related or confused terms instead.
