Backside Tailslide — Feature
A backside lipslide-style entry onto rear-foot / tail support, as specified by the dedicated lesson.
HOW TO DO IT
Backside Tailslide — Training Version
A backside lipslide-style entry onto rear-foot/tail support, developed from centred transverse training balance.
Preparation and setting
Rear-foot bar support and backside tail-crossing rehearsal.
Execution / application sequence
- Establish centred transverse support.
- Shift the board under stable hips toward rear-foot support.
- Return to centre.
- Add the source-matched backside lipslide-style entry.
- Receive the intended support without excess rotation.
- Finish deliberately..
Learning and practice
Develop support first, then direct entry. Full moving-feature take-off is a separate technical-review task.
Errors, limits and corrections
Continued spin spoils reception. Insufficient tail clearance requires simpler entry practice. Pressure behind the bar: restore the support relationship.
Observable checks
Source-specific entry and support are preserved.
