Term

Bouchbomb

A trick named after Canadian snowboarder Eli Bouchard, who first landed it at the FIS Big Air World Cup in Chongli, China, in November 2025.

GLOSSARY

Judges named it the “BouchBomb” after Bouchard landed a never-before-seen off-axis rotation, scoring 93.25. Reports describe it differently: one judge called it an unconventional 1440 with a grab and a reverse-axis landing, while a later season report describes it as a butter 180 into a double sloth roll followed by a 360.

Context and distinction

Because sources disagree on the mechanics, both descriptions are kept and neither is treated as definitive. FIS lists Bouchbomb (code “bob”) separately from Bouch and McBoutch.

HOW TO DO IT

Bouchbomb

The existing inventory retains this name, but the original material does not establish a complete source-specific mechanical definition.

Preparation and setting

Retain the original named card and its source convention. No complete independent practice assignment is inferred.

Known phases / unresolved execution

  1. Read the exact original definition and its limitations.
  2. Identify feature, stance, contact, axis and exit where supported.
  3. Keep unknown properties explicit.
  4. Use related established components as background knowledge.
  5. Obtain a full reviewed target-specific instruction before assigning reproduction practice.

Learning and practice

Available material provides naming or partial understanding. A complete learning pathway for this exact target remains open.

Errors, limits and corrections

Do not turn a coding-list name or challenge title into a guessed movement. Similar spelling and compound wording do not establish aliases.

Observable checks

Original identity is retained; unresolved mechanics and missing instruction are explicit.

editorial review notes

Official coding-list name only. Classification and mechanics remain pending; a code does not establish an independent teachable trick.
