Double-Handed Grab — Simultaneous
HOW TO DO IT
Double-Handed Grab — Simultaneous
Both hands hold the board at the same time. The family does not prescribe a fixed contact point.
Preparation and setting
Use comfortable stationary positioning or the appropriate supervised training-board context first. For any snow application, an independently controlled take-off, flight and landing must already exist; this card does not prescribe a new jump size or trajectory.
Execution / application sequence
- Establish the selected contact in comfortable positioning before changing airborne demand.
- Select an existing two-hand variant.
- Rehearse both contact routes.
- Confirm overlapping hold time.
- Release and restore landing posture..
- For a technically reviewed snow application, preserve the established take-off, take the hold only after departure, then release and recover board alignment before contact.
Learning and practice
Learn contact, route and modest styling as separate tasks. Rehearse the return as deliberately as the hold. Add a short contact to a familiar controlled air only after the specific version has been technically reviewed; shorten or omit the hold if landing organization becomes rushed.
Errors, limits and corrections
Two quick successive one-hand touches are sequential, not simultaneous. Keep hand locations variant-specific.
Observable checks
The intended hand, contact zone and route are distinguishable; styling is modest and recoverable; the hold is deliberately released before landing.
