Term
Feedback
Information provided about an attempt or performance to support learning.
GLOSSARY · Learning, analysis & assessment
Feedback is information about how an attempt went — from a coach, video, a partner or the rider's own sensations. Useful feedback is specific, timely and linked to the goal of the task.
Context and distinction
Feedback describes what happened; a cue tells the rider what to focus on next. Too much feedback at once can make learning harder.
