Frontside 720 — toe-edge source example

Two upright frontside turns with a same-travel-stance landing. Scotty Vine supplies a toe-edge example; that does not make every720 a toe departure.

HOW TO DO IT

Frontside 720 — toe-edge source example

Two upright frontside turns with a same-travel-stance landing. Scotty Vine supplies a toe-edge example; that does not make every720 a toe departure.

Preparation and setting

Controlled smaller frontside spins and suitable feature coaching; a chosen take-off line already understood.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Establish the appropriate feature line.
  2. Organize the toe-edge platform and upper-body release in the source example.
  3. Depart with lift before seeking a hold.
  4. Maintain the spin through the first turn.
  5. Recognize the landing through the second turn.
  6. Release any hold and recover board alignment before contact.

Learning and practice

Separate the familiar first turn from the additional rotation. Review departure timing and landing readiness with a coach; do not select a larger jump merely to force more rotation.

Errors, limits and corrections

Treating late initiation as a universal recipe is unsupported; grabbing before departure compromises lift.

Observable checks

Two rotations occur airborne and a controlled same-stance landing follows.
