HOW TO DO IT

Frontside Noseslide — Snow

The publisher redirects the board sideways with opposing upper/lower movements, receives nose support and returns to travel. The documented contact cue favors the front foot's toe-side sole to avoid a heel catch.

Preparation and setting

Stationary nose manual and moving nollie suggested by the publisher.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Choose the entry point and rhythm.
  2. Make a small ollie and separate upper/lower redirection around the hips.
  3. Look toward travel over the leading shoulder.
  4. Receive nose support without dropping onto the heel edge.
  5. Keep the supported passage brief while learning.
  6. Restore body and board alignment, using a reviewed nollie release only as a later exit.

Learning and practice

Combine short redirection and reception before extending the slide. Exit before balance or glide disappears.

Errors and corrections

Heel loading may hook the edge: reduce slide and check contact. Torso leaves the board: restore hips over support. Waiting until stopped: rehearse earlier exit.

Observable checks

Sideways nose contact and deliberate realignment are visible. This is a snow slide.
