Trick

Gorilla

Both hands hold the toe edge between the bindings.

HOW TO DO IT

Gorilla

Both hands hold toe edge between bindings. The plain contact definition does not require the two-leg extension of Double Stiffy.

Preparation and setting

Use comfortable stationary positioning or the appropriate supervised training-board context first. For any snow application, an independently controlled take-off, flight and landing must already exist; this card does not prescribe a new jump size or trajectory.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Establish the selected contact in comfortable positioning before changing airborne demand.
  2. Rehearse a compact board with both toe-edge contacts.
  3. Keep legs in a comfortable flexed shape.
  4. Release simultaneously and recover..
  5. For a technically reviewed snow application, preserve the established take-off, take the hold only after departure, then release and recover board alignment before contact.

Learning and practice

Learn contact, route and modest styling as separate tasks. Rehearse the return as deliberately as the hold. Add a short contact to a familiar controlled air only after the specific version has been technically reviewed; shorten or omit the hold if landing organization becomes rushed.

Errors, limits and corrections

Adding mandatory straight legs changes it into a styling combination. Do not automatically merge with Truck Driver.

Observable checks

The intended hand, contact zone and route are distinguishable; styling is modest and recoverable; the hold is deliberately released before landing.
