HOW TO DO IT

Press Foundations

Press learning separates entry, supported hold and exit. Stationary, moving and switch versions require their own balance checks.

Preparation and setting

Use the linked existing components and an unobstructed practice setting appropriate to current control. This is a family or methodology page, not a substitute for a named trick lesson.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Identify the physical board end.
  2. Establish a small stationary support.
  3. Return deliberately.
  4. Add a short moving hold.
  5. Repeat in switch without silently renaming nose and tail.

Learning and practice

Apply this framework to one documented existing movement at a time. Use its component cards, compare a short controlled attempt and return to the earliest unstable phase before increasing demand.

Errors and corrections

Torso bending without board loading is not a press. Extend hold only when the supporting end and exit remain observable.

Observable checks

A reader can identify the specified phases, choose an appropriate regression and distinguish verified movement facts from unresolved variant details.
