Hardway
A direction-sensitive modifier for a feature entry or exit that works against the usual rotational flow for that approach.

In the retained judging convention, entry hardway and exit hardway are identified from different parts of the sequence. The complete approach and rotation description makes the label interpretable.
Context and distinction
Hardway is not a universal difficulty grade. Sameway describes continuation on exit and is not its automatic opposite in every context.
