Trick
Nollie into Tail Press
A preparation sequence: load the nose, pop and tuck the knees, then land in tail support.
HOW TO DO IT
Nollie into Tail Press — Preparation
Nose release receives tail support; source drills tuck the knees and use a small ollie as a later exit.
Preparation and setting
Controlled nollie and tail press separately on snow or training setup.
Execution / application sequence
- Load nose with modest demand.
- Release upward.
- Draw the board beneath the body.
- Receive tail support with a flexed knee.
- Hold briefly.
- Recentre or use the already reviewed small ollie exit..
Learning and practice
Start with a short support reception. Stationary hold duration is not rail advice.
Errors, limits and corrections
Landing rigidly slaps the nose down. Torso thrown back misses support: reduce travel through the transfer.
Observable checks
Departure and tail reception are deliberate in preparation context.
