Term

Nosebone

A leg-position modifier with the front leg extended and the rear leg bent.

HOW TO DO IT

Nosebone

A front-leg extension with the rear knee remaining bent. It is a leg-position modifier, not Nose Grab.

Preparation and setting

Use comfortable stationary positioning or the appropriate supervised training-board context first. For any snow application, an independently controlled take-off, flight and landing must already exist; this card does not prescribe a new jump size or trajectory.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Establish the selected contact in comfortable positioning before changing airborne demand.
  2. Rehearse the contrast between a bent rear knee and modest front-leg lengthening.
  3. Add it to an already established grab with a small range.
  4. Return both legs to landing flexion before contact..
  5. For a technically reviewed snow application, preserve the established take-off, take the hold only after departure, then release and recover board alignment before contact.

Learning and practice

Learn contact, route and modest styling as separate tasks. Rehearse the return as deliberately as the hold. Add a short contact to a familiar controlled air only after the specific version has been technically reviewed; shorten or omit the hold if landing organization becomes rushed.

Errors, limits and corrections

Extending both legs changes the modifier. Reaching for the nose is unnecessary unless the separate grab requires it.

Observable checks

The intended hand, contact zone and route are distinguishable; styling is modest and recoverable; the hold is deliberately released before landing.

editorial review notes

Not a Nose Grab. Grab hand and grab location remain independent fields.
