Trick

Nuclear

Rear hand reaches across to the heel edge; distinguish this from a nose-grab Crail.

HOW TO DO IT

Nuclear

Rear hand crosses the body to heel-edge contact. Exact contact region depends on the named source version.

Preparation and setting

Use comfortable stationary positioning or the appropriate supervised training-board context first. For any snow application, an independently controlled take-off, flight and landing must already exist; this card does not prescribe a new jump size or trajectory.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Establish the selected contact in comfortable positioning before changing airborne demand.
  2. Locate a source-matched cross-body heel contact.
  3. Rehearse it without adding a large tweak.
  4. Release and return to an organized compact posture..
  5. For a technically reviewed snow application, preserve the established take-off, take the hold only after departure, then release and recover board alignment before contact.

Learning and practice

Learn contact, route and modest styling as separate tasks. Rehearse the return as deliberately as the hold. Add a short contact to a familiar controlled air only after the specific version has been technically reviewed; shorten or omit the hold if landing organization becomes rushed.

Errors, limits and corrections

Substituting the nose hold removes the source's distinction from Crail. Do not invent a universal zone from this family description.

Observable checks

The intended hand, contact zone and route are distinguishable; styling is modest and recoverable; the hold is deliberately released before landing.
