Owen — Saechika's Version
A nose-supported turn separates upper and lower rotation, holds the board near 270 and transfers toward a tail-press shape. The source allows a pop or press-based return.
Preparation and setting
Nose Compass 270 and front tail-press preparation suggested by the teacher; reliable controlled returns.
Execution / application sequence
- Organize counter-preparation before nose loading.
- Begin the supported turn.
- Around 180 restrain upper-body continuation while the board continues toward 270.
- Stabilize the documented held position without forcing additional rotation.
- Transfer loading toward the tail-press shape.
- Use the selected practiced return and regain ordinary travel.
Learning and practice
Break the movement into supported rotation, held shape and transfer. Practice fewer phases until each can be ended deliberately.
Errors and corrections
Stops at 180: revisit support and separation. Continues beyond 270: reduce upper-body carry-through. Support disappears: shorten rotation and return to basic press balance.
Observable checks
The held shape and support change are visible. No single compulsory pop exit is imposed.

Additional teaching summary — coaching review required
S4: counter-preparation precedes the nose-loaded action; around 180 the upper body restrains further turning while the board continues toward 270; then loading transfers and the return is made by either a pop or a press-based movement. Errors: stopping at 180; continuing beyond 270; losing the supported position early.
