Method
Park entry → straight air → rotation/grab routes; separate rail and pipe routes
HOW TO DO IT
Park entry → straight air → rotation/grab routes; separate rail and pipe routes
Whole-body spin, counterrotation and board-relative change are different observations. Internal action alone cannot create net whole-body angular momentum in free flight. A grab includes hand, contact zone, route, styling and release. These are independent of spin amount. Assessment tests a named task under stated conditions. A pathway is a sequence of useful learning steps, not an automatic global ability ranking.
Preparation and setting
Use the setting and competence boundary below. This is a page-level learning/application text; use the exact linked movement for reproduction instructions.
Execution / application sequence
- Identify headings of shoulders, hips and board.
- Locate the supported departure.
- Separate airborne turn from snow-contact pivot.
- Use the source-specific spin lesson.
- Select the existing Package3 contact lesson.
- Rehearse its comfortable position.
- Add it only to a familiar controlled air after departure.
- Release and recover before landing.
- Define terrain, conditions and task.
- Choose observable success criteria before the attempt.
- Check controlled starts, movement and finish.
- Repeat enough to distinguish deliberate control from one lucky result.
- Identify the earliest unstable component.
- Select its regression or next supported application.
Learning and practice
Use the linked movement cards. Record switch and main-stance performance separately and reassess when conditions change.
Errors, limits and corrections
One trick or score cannot certify every discipline or environment.
Observable checks
The page-specific task, conditions, known components and missing procedure can be explained. Successful application is checked in the actual task, not inferred from reading.
