HOW TO DO IT

Route Look and Quiet-Impulse Comparison

Separate looking ahead from an abrupt rotational arm rescue.

Preparation and setting

Off-board rehearsal first; sliding comparison only after garland and stopping prerequisites.

Exercise sequence

  1. Choose and look toward a visible route.
  2. Rehearse a small coordinated leg/pelvis action without wrenching knees.
  3. In a familiar shallow garland, ride normally.
  4. Repeat with less deliberate arm swing while retaining natural balance movements.
  5. Compare track smoothness and support; if unchanged, inspect release and pressure separately.

Transfer

Retain useful coordination in individual turns; do not ban all torso movement in every discipline.

Errors addressed

Tail whip from an upper-body impulse; Looking at bindings; Rigid shoulders treated as universal cure.

Success check

Removing the disruptive impulse improves the path, or the test rules it out as the main cause.

Simplify when needed

Do only the off-board part if steering and stop control are not established.
