Tailslide — Feature
GLOSSARY
On a rail or box, the rider enters like a frontside lipslide and slides with the board across the feature, supported on the tail end with the nose lifted.
Context and distinction
Tailslide on a feature differs from Tailslide on snow; noseslides support the other end.

Frontside Tailslide — Training Version
The dedicated lesson uses a frontside lipslide-style entry into transverse rear-foot/tail support. Preserve that entry specificity.
Preparation and setting
Centred transverse balance, rear-foot support and source-matched tail clearance.
Execution / application sequence
- Practise centred support.
- Reposition toward rear-foot loading.
- Return deliberately to centre.
- Rehearse the frontside tail-crossing entry with adequate clearance.
- Receive the source's tailslide position.
- Use an established simple exit..
Learning and practice
Isolate rear-support balance before entry. Do not infer a boardslide approach merely from the final position.
Errors, limits and corrections
Tail fails to clear: return to entry rehearsal. Leaning behind support: move board under hips instead. Generic entry substitution changes identity.
Observable checks
Tail-crossing entry and tail-supported transverse pose are distinguishable.
