Tailslide → Frontside 270 Out — Feature

A tailslide position followed by a frontside three-quarter-turn exit in the cited teaching example.

HOW TO DO IT

Tailslide → Frontside270 Out — Feature

A tail-supported transverse position releases into source-labeledFS270. Its approach side is not inferred from exit direction.

Preparation and setting

Tailslide to fakie andFS360 movement familiarity on the training setup.

Execution / application sequence

  1. Receive the established tailslide.
  2. Preserve the source's upper-body continuation through support.
  3. Organize a modest release at the exit.
  4. Complete the documented270 clear of the bar.
  5. Prepare the less visible landing alignment.
  6. Absorb and reset..

Learning and practice

Use the Balance Bar progression before any moving feature transfer. Practice a short supported passage and controlled exit rather than extending hold.

Errors, limits and corrections

Counterrotation that kills intended continuation may prevent the exit. Overwinding destabilizes support: reduce range. Approach-side guessing: keep it unknown.

Observable checks

Supported position and exit direction are separately recorded.
