Feature–outcome comparison
HOW TO DO IT
Feature–outcome comparison
prevent a pumping cue from being detached from its terrain.
Preparation and setting
Use an instructor-managed, purpose-built beginner track with an established entry and exit. The learner must understand the stop or return feature and be able to maintain an athletic stance during the selected glide. The operator's current procedures govern use. Do not build a roller from the dimensions of a historical manual or infer that any similarly shaped mound is suitable.
Exercise task
- at the same instructor-selected entry, compare a balanced familiar glide with a modest introduction of the taught movement sequence. Record crest contact, speed trend and exit.
Transfer and success check
compare the goal with AMTA-19 and explain why its absorption task is different. Success is the intended track outcome without excess speed, not maximum acceleration.
Regression
return to the prior balancing task or simpler designed feature.
Progression
another feature only under the track's teaching sequence.
