HOW TO DO IT

Heel Arc: Support and Impulse Test

Identify whether rearward sitting, hand reach or rotary disturbance causes a heel-side failure.

Preparation and setting

Clean short heel tasks and predictable exit; same suitable familiar patch.

Exercise sequence

  1. Observe baseline and first failed phase.
  2. Rehearse moderate supported heel position.
  3. Repeat short traverse with less rearward hip displacement.
  4. Separately repeat J-carve with hands clear and reduced deliberate rotary impulse.
  5. Retain joint range through completion.
  6. Transfer useful change to heel-to-toe pair.

Transfer

Use in linked shape variation; do not change equipment angles simultaneously.

Errors addressed

Tail brush; Shoulder drop toward snow; Deep seated finish; Blocked release.

Success check

Specific tested change improves trace/support and does not make the next transition worse.

Simplify when needed

Restore CD04/CD07 or test fore/aft and loading separately if no improvement.
