Drill

Moderate Range and Smoother Loading

Manage demand with available joints instead of a fixed low pose or late shove.

HOW TO DO IT

Moderate Range and Smoother Loading

Manage demand with available joints instead of a fixed low pose or late shove.

Preparation and setting

Familiar short arcs with reliable stop; suitable smooth terrain; no new rebound/hop task.

Exercise sequence

  1. Observe phase of grabbing or exhausted range.
  2. Rehearse moderate shared flexion/extension.
  3. Repeat same approximate arc with less abrupt effort at problem phase.
  4. Retain further movement as load develops.
  5. Prepare release before range is exhausted.
  6. Compare stability, trace and speed; test only one change at once.

Transfer

Prepare grounded CD16/CD17 and chatter diagnosis.

Errors addressed

Late pressure spike; Maximal crouch too early; Rigid posture; Extension/flexion treated as automatic force outcome.

Success check

Task becomes smoother while path and speed remain controlled; rider retains useful movement range.

Simplify when needed

Restore simpler traverse and stationary range; abandon wrong hypothesis if smoother effort does not help.
