HOW TO DO IT

Short Toe J-Carve

Join supported toe engagement to a rounded path without a hand-contact target.

Preparation and setting

Clean short toe traverse/glide; comfortable view; suitable gentle lane with exit.

Exercise sequence

  1. Choose arc and finish.
  2. Rehearse supported boot contact.
  3. Start short glide with mobile support.
  4. Develop modest toe engagement progressively.
  5. Coordinate both legs and keep useful range.
  6. Shape within margin, exit and inspect entry/middle/finish.

Transfer

Prepare opposite-edge linked pair only after both isolated arcs work.

Errors addressed

Inside hand reach; Waist collapse; Forced knee action; Aborted entry from excess demand.

Success check

Clean useful segment remains supported with hands clear and a deliberate finish.

Simplify when needed

Shorten task and restore CD05/CD02 or toe stopping; do not seek more speed as the primary fix.
