Integrate supported toe lowering, optional contact and early recovery in one arc.

HOW TO DO IT

Short Toe-Side Contact Window

Integrate supported toe lowering, optional contact and early recovery in one arc.

Preparation and setting

ECRC-06 functional, ED09 return established, clearance and corridor reviewed; coach observing first progression.

Exercise sequence

  1. Select one familiar heel-to-toe preparation and a deliberate final exit.
  2. Develop the supported toe arc at the demonstrated non-contact depth.
  3. Allow a short pre-agreed gliding touch while retaining movement range and head clearance.
  4. Begin shortening before contact becomes prolonged or dependent. Return to ordinary riding.
  5. Compare support and return with ED10. Extend the window only after repeated functional exits, changing no other demand.

Transfer

Use toe-contact followed by ordinary heel in ED15 before a two-contact pair. A longer window is a new task.

Errors addressed

Sudden drop into touch; Prolonged prone finish; Arm-dependent toe arc.

Observable success

The intended toe arc remains functional through a brief deliberate touch and an ordinary controlled return.

Regression

Remove contact and restore ED09/ED10. Do not add speed to repair an absent return.
